About Skillora

Skillora is a trust-focused place to discover, check and connect with skilled people nearby — from housekeepers and nannies to plumbers, nurses, mechanics, tutors and accountants.

Many skilled people in Uganda find work only by word of mouth, and many customers do not know whom to trust. Skillora brings both together with location-aware search, honest information about what has been checked, and a simple way to request, agree and review work.

We started in Uganda and are building for growth across Africa. Skillora is free at launch: no subscriptions, no commissions and no paid placement. Any future optional plans will be clearly labelled and will never buy verification or override safety.

Skillora is a connection platform: providers are independent and are not employed by Skillora. Customers and providers agree terms and payment between themselves.
