1. Who can use CampusCrush
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding agreement. CampusCrush is intended for students of universities, colleges and other tertiary institutions. One account per person.
2. Your account
Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
3. Student verification and certificates
Registration does not make you a verified student. Verification happens only after an authorised review of your evidence. A CampusCrush Student Verification Certificate confirms only the scope of CampusCrush's own verification process at the time it was issued. It is not a government identity document and it is not issued or endorsed by any university unless that is stated on it. Certificates expire and may be suspended or revoked; their current status is shown on the validation page. Submitting false or altered documents ends your account and may be reported to the institution or authorities.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post, and give us a licence to host and show it within the service as your settings allow. You must have the right to post it, and it must follow the community guidelines.
5. Meeting people
CampusCrush does not run criminal background checks and cannot guarantee anyone's identity or behaviour, even with the verified badge. Follow our safety guidance; you are responsible for your own interactions.
6. Blind dates
Blind dates are optional. Your pseudo-name must not contain your real name or anything offensive. Identities are revealed only if both people choose to reveal. Moderators can see who took part when handling a report.
7. Moderation
We may remove content and warn, restrict, suspend or ban accounts that break these terms or the guidelines. We tell you why, and you can appeal within 30 days.
8. Optional paid features
Core features, safety tools and privacy controls are free. Optional paid extras, when offered, are described with their price before you pay. Until a payment provider is live, only test (sandbox) payments exist and no money is charged.
9. Ending your account
You can deactivate or delete your account at any time in Settings. We may end accounts for serious or repeated violations.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, CampusCrush is provided "as is", and we are not liable for the conduct of members on or off the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda, without affecting mandatory protections of the country where you live.
