Patient portal accounts

1. Sign in to the patient portal.
2. Open a patient, then the Preferences tab.
3. Under Delete my portal account, enter your password, tick the box and press the button.

Your sign-in details (name, email, phone and password) are erased at once and your access to every linked patient is withdrawn. If you cannot sign in, ask the hospital's records desk to close your portal access.

What is kept

Medical and billing records belong to the hospital that treated you and are kept for as long as the law requires; deleting a portal account does not delete them. To see or correct those records, ask the hospital's records desk.

Staff accounts

Staff accounts are created and closed by the hospital's administrator. Ask your administrator to close your account.
